The town of Guardea is just 5 minutes away, complete with small grocery store, ATM, several restaurants and shops. Ten minutes in the other direction is the slightly larger town of Baschi. A bit further afield, explore the rustic countryside and historic villages of Gubbio, Montefalco and Todi where you’ll discover numerous Romanesque churches, palaces and medieval monuments.

From your villa, you have easy access to two of Umbria's most important towns; Orvieto with its dramatic duomo and Perugia, the region's colorful capital. Each is less than 40 minutes scenic drive. Umbria’s most famous town, Assisi, with its lovely churches and frescoes is readily accessible, and particularly lovely in the evening.
