NEARBY VILLAGES
The house is in the quiet, mostly residential village of Griante. You can buy produce weekly off the back of a truck, enjoy good gelato and local gossip over coffee or walk to a deserted church high up the hill. There is direct access to the other Lakefront villages by ferry. Bellagio, the most famous, is 15 minutes by boat. Varenna, Menaggio, Lenno and Gravedona are also worth seeing.
INTERESTING TOWNS AND CITIES
The main town on the Lake is Como, an old and lovely walled town with an impressive historic center and lively square. From Casa Laetitia, you can also visit Milan as well as Lugano and St. Moritz in Switzerland.

Cadenabbia, with its pool, beach, restaurants, shops and boats, is just a ten-minute walk from your villa. For day trips further afield, visit the fashion outlets in Switzerland or explore the mysteries of Milan.

From your front door, you can walk to the piazza and buy fresh farm vegetables, take the children for a gelato, play tennis on the village courts, watch the local fishermen drop their lines in the Lake, and walk to the Lakefront beach club, complete with pool and casual restaurant.
